My first full time job in the film business after my studies was in 1997 as Head of PR & Marketing at Scanbox Entertainment in Farum, Denmark, where I took part in establishing their in-house theatrical distribution department.
Some of the first titles I got my hands on were for example Pizza King by Ole Christian Madsen, and the Dogme-films: Festen by Thomas Vinterberg, The Idiots by Lars von Trier and Mifune by Søren Kragh Jakobsen, as well as Danish action comedy hit In China they eat Dogs by Lasse Spang-Olsen (which kicked of the new Danish film genre: drengerøvs-film (noproper translation to English really).
Among the international titles were many, many films, such as for example The Big Lebowski, Cop Land, Velvet Goldmine, Scream, The Boondock Saints, Elizabeth, The Wings of the Dove, The Ninth Gate, Arlington Road, Dogma, Good Will Hunting, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Taxi and Fucking Åmål.
One of the photos is a copy of MAD, signed by the two lead actors of Fucking Åmål; the other from when Wes Craven went sightseeing in Copenhagen for the premiere of Scream in Imperial Cinema.
